PDEG seizes PHP74.8M worth of shabu in Caloocan

On Sunday evening, Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) operatives seized PHP74.8 million worth of shabu during a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City.

Acting PDEG chief Col. Rolando Cuya stated that the suspects were arrested at around 8 p.m. Sunday in Barangay Amparo, North Caloocan, after negotiating for the purchase of a large quantity of shabu.

The two suspects are considered high-value targets in Metro Manila and will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Seized from them were 11 kilograms of suspected shabu, which will be sent to the Northern Police District Crime Laboratory for examination.
