3 drug suspects, 1 minor, arrested in Pasay City

Three drug suspects, including a minor, were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) on Wednesday, April 30.

The suspects, identified as 'Pogs' aged 22, 'Vinze' aged 23, and 'Kuys', a minor aged 16, were apprehended along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City.

Confiscated from the suspects was 38 pieces of disposable vape containing marijuana oil, which they will be charged with violating Section 5 of RA 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The minor suspect 'Kuys' will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for rehabilitation.

Police Col. Darwin Miranda, director of the PNP-Drug Enforcement Unit-Special Operations Unit of the National Capital Region, said his men seized P138,000 worth of marijuana vapes with marijuana oil during the operation.

All suspects are now under PDEG custody and facing drug charges while the confiscated items were taken to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for examination.
