PDEA, police seize P20M worth of shabu in week-long anti-drug ops

On Monday, April 21, three drug dealers were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.

Separately on Tuesday night, April 22, plainclothes policemen confiscated P6.8 million worth of shabu from Marjan Arani Diejo during an entrapment operation in Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City, and also seized packs of illegal drugs worth close to P2 million and firearms in separate police operations in Cebu City and Bohol province.

On Wednesday night, April 23, plainclothes policemen confiscated P2.4 million worth of shabu from three drug peddlers in Barangay Santo Niño, Koronadal City during an entrapment operation.

Richie Lasanas Gallego (39), Dexter Tabaque Pinado (32), and Sabino Baylon Antenor (42) were arrested on the spot after selling P2.4 million worth of shabu to plainclothes policemen, led by Lt. Col. Peter Pinalgan Jr., director of the Koronadal City Police Office.

On Thursday, April 24, police apprehended three individuals identified as drug peddlers in Barangay Sto Niño, Koronadal City, resulting in the seizure of suspected shabu valued at more than PHP2.4 million during a buy-bust operation.

On Friday, April 25, packs of suspected shabu worth P8.6 million were seized in Mandaue City; police recovered 1.2 kilos of shabu from Jem-jem (41) in Barangay Ibabao-Estancia during an operation conducted by the City Intelligence Unit-City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Mandaue City Police Office.
