PCG spox calls Filipinos defending China 'unpatriotic', 'traitors'

Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) spokesperson Commodore Jay Tarriela called out Filipinos defending China's aggressive actions in the West Philippine Sea (WPS), calling them 'unpatriotic' and 'traitors'.

Tarriela made these remarks after Chinese ships used water cannons and dangerous maneuvers to block a PCG resupply mission to BRP Sierra Madre at Ayungin Shoal.

He emphasized that defending China's behavior is unacceptable, even if it means exercising freedom of speech.
