Pangasinan confirms 4 Omicron cases, all recovered

Pangasinan has confirmed four Omicron variant cases, all of whom have since recovered.

Dr. Anna de Guzman, Provincial Health Officer, attributed the January case surge to community transmission of Omicron.

The DOH advised that these cases are from Dagupan City, Urdaneta City, Sto. Tomas, and Mangatarem town.

De Guzman emphasized the importance of vaccination as a 'game-changer' in combating COVID-19, noting that Pangasinan has fully vaccinated 1.6 million people out of its target population.
