Palace urges public, malls to follow health protocols

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque reminded the public on Monday to strictly follow health protocols when visiting malls and parks in Metro Manila.

Roque emphasized that these venues being open is meant to benefit public health and revive the economy, but should not lead to super spreader events.

He appealed to mall owners to enforce mask-wearing, handwashing, and social distancing rules.

Roque noted that preventing crowds is the responsibility of both the public and business owners as Metro Manila operates under Alert Level 2.
