Metro mayors review mall rules for young kids

Metro Manila mayors will meet to decide whether to impose travel restrictions on unvaccinated younger children following a 2-year-old boy testing positive for COVID-19 after visiting a mall.

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año said the MMDA mayors are reviewing age restrictions for minors allowed in malls as pandemic protocols continue despite low case numbers.

Año emphasized the importance of public health protocols and advised parents to be cautious when bringing children to malls only if necessary.
