Palace: Metro Manila's alert level may ease if COVID-19 cases continue to drop

Malacañang said on Tuesday that Metro Manila's alert level may be eased to Alert Level 2 if the drop in COVID-19 cases is sustained.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque cited DOH data showing a potential decrease in ADAR from 7.7 to 7 percent, indicating a high possibility of easing restrictions.

Roque emphasized the need for continued adherence to minimum public health standards despite the positive trend, cautioning against complacency during the holiday season.
