Duterte saddened by death of woman waiting for bus

President Rodrigo Duterte was saddened by the death of Michelle Silvertino, a single mother who died while waiting for a bus ride home to Bicol during the quarantine.

Silvertino's death prompted Duterte to express his desire to prevent such incidents from happening again.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the government will take steps to ensure the safety and well-being of locally stranded individuals (LSIs) amid limited public transport operations.
