Palace: Minors can exercise outdoors but not at Manila Bay Dolomite Beach

On Tuesday, October 26, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque stated that minors are allowed to exercise in open areas during Alert Level 3 but not at the Manila Bay Dolomite Beach due to COVID-19 concerns.

Roque emphasized that children should stay home unless it is for essential activities or mental health reasons, and discouraged bringing them to crowded places like the dolomite beach.

Despite calls from Manila Mayor Isko Moreno for the national government to file complaints against the DENR over weekend crowds at the beach, Malacañang left such actions to local authorities.

The DENR previously stated that closing the P389 million project is not an option.
