DILG coordinates with PNP to regulate Manila Baywalk Dolomite Beach crowds

Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso called for possible legal action against DENR over alleged breach of health protocols following the reopening of Manila Bay dolomite beach.

DILG Secretary Eduardo Año said his department is coordinating with PNP, MPD, and MMDA to regulate the number of people allowed in the beach area.

Malacañang left the decision on filing cases against DENR to DILG.

DENR prohibited children aged 12 and below from visiting the dolomite beach due to overcrowding concerns.

DOH raised alarm over visitors' failure to observe health protocols, advising parents not to bring unvaccinated children to crowded places.
