Palace urges cooperation as PH shifts to GCQ, MGCQ

Malacañang is urging the public to cooperate with government authorities by following quarantine protocols as parts of the country, including Metro Manila, transition to more relaxed community quarantines starting June 1.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque emphasized that since there is no cure or vaccine for COVID-19, everyone must observe minimum public health standards.

Roque expressed confidence in Filipinos' ability to adhere to quarantine rules and warned that stricter measures could be reimposed if there is a rapid surge in new infections.
