DOLE vaccinates construction, factory workers to boost economy

DOLE is rolling out a special vaccination program in Manila targeting over 400,000 construction and manufacturing workers to boost economic recovery.

The initial rollout on September 8 vaccinated more than 1,000 workers with plans to continue the inoculation drive in other regions like Central Luzon and Calabarzon.

Workers will receive their second dose on October 6 as part of the 'Reform, Rebound, Recover: One Million Jobs for 2021' project, a partnership between government and private sector.
