PAGASA warns rain showers, flash floods in parts of Luzon

PAGASA warns that a shear line and northeast monsoon affecting Luzon, along with easterlies over Visayas and Mindanao, will bring cloudy skies and isolated rain showers across the Philippines.

Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, and northern Quezon can expect scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line, while the Cordillera region and rest of Cagayan Valley may experience moderate to heavy rains leading to potential flash floods or landslides.

Bicol, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods during severe storms. Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will see partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Coastal waters in Northern Luzon and eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon are expected to be rough, while moderate to rough seas are predicted for the rest of Luzon and eastern Visayas and Mindanao.
