Amihan brings cloudy skies, isolated rains over Northern Luzon

The northeast monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Northern Luzon, bringing cloudy skies and isolated rain showers.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands can expect cloudy skies with rains, while Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.

Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, and Bicol Region could see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with localized thunderstorms contributing to weather conditions that may cause flash floods or landslides.

Moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas are predicted in Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas, while light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas are expected elsewhere.
