PAGASA issues thunderstorm advisory for Metro Manila, Cavite, Rizal, Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Batangas, Pampanga

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a thunderstorm advisory on Tuesday at 1:39 p.m., warning of moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds in Metro Manila and several provinces within the next two to three hours.

Specifically affected areas include Cavite, Rizal, Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Batangas, and Pampanga.

In Laguna, residents of Santa Cruz, Lumban, Kalayaan, Pagsanjan, Cavinti, Magdalena, and Luisiana are advised to take precautions against potential flash floods and landslides.

Nueva Ecija’s Bongabon, Pantabangan, San Jose, Llanera, Cuyapo, and Nampicuan; Tarlac's San Manuel and Moncada; and Quezon’s Perez are also experiencing moderate to heavy rains that may persist for up to two hours.

PAGASA advised residents in these areas to take precautionary measures against potential flash floods and landslides.
