PAGASA issues warnings for rains, flash floods, landslides in parts of Luzon

Multiple weather systems will bring cloudy conditions and scattered rains across parts of Luzon on Thursday and Friday, with warnings issued by PAGASA.

Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and other parts of Central Luzon and CALABARZON may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan.

Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rain caused by Amihan, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides.

Isabela, Aurora, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, and Camarines Norte are expected to experience cloudy conditions with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to a shear line, with warnings of possible flash floods or landslides.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.

PAGASA has raised gale warnings for strong to gale-force winds over Northern Luzon’s northern and eastern seaboards, moderate to strong winds in other parts of Luzon, and light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas across the Visayas and Mindanao.
