PAGASA: Weather systems affect PH in 24 hrs

PAGASA reported on Saturday that multiple weather systems, including the shear line, northeast monsoon, and easterlies, will affect most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.

Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Davao Region, and SOCCSKSARGEN can expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line or easterlies; flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, and Metro Manila will have cloudy skies with rain or partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

Strong to gale winds and rough to very rough seas are expected in Northern Luzon and eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, while moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters are possible elsewhere.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters will prevail in the rest of Mindanao and Visayas.
