LPA brings scattered rain over PH

The low pressure area (LPA) embedded along the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will continue to bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over most parts of the Philippines, particularly in Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Quezon.

PAGASA warns that floods and landslides are likely due to moderate to heavy rains, advising residents to take safety precautions.

The LPA has a slim chance of developing into a tropical cyclone but PAGASA is also monitoring a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
