Pagasa forecasts scattered rains across PH on Thursday due to three weather systems

Three different weather systems will bring rain across several parts of the Philippines on Thursday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The shear line is expected to cause scattered rains in Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, most of Mimaropa except Palawan, and the Bicol Region.

Northern Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Ilocos Region may experience cloudy skies with rain due to the northeast monsoon or 'amihan'.

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring rain over the southern and eastern portions of Mindanao.

Visayas and most of Mindanao are expected to have relatively fairer weather, but localized thunderstorms may occur in some areas.
