PAGASA forecasts scattered rains in northern Luzon

PAGASA forecasts cloudy conditions and scattered rain showers in northern Luzon areas due to the southwest monsoon.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Zambales, Bataan, Batanes, Cagayan, Western Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, potentially causing flash floods or landslides.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Winds over extreme northern Luzon will be moderate from the southwest, while coastal conditions are expected to be slight to moderate.
