PAGASA forecasts scattered rains, thunderstorms in parts of Luzon, Eastern Visayas

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies and scattered rains or thunderstorms over parts of Luzon and Eastern Visayas due to easterlies, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte can expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms from the easterlies, posing risks of flash floods or landslides during moderate rainfall.

Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the prevailing easterlies on Wednesday, October 16.

Other parts of the country may see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms by afternoon or evening, posing risks of flash floods or landslides during severe storms.

No low-pressure area was spotted within and around the Philippine Area of Responsibility as of 4 a.m. on Wednesday.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas are expected over the whole archipelago.
