Pagasa: cloudy skies, rains, isolated thunderstorms across PH

Pagasa reported that three weather systems—a low pressure area (LPA), the Northeasterly Surface Windflow, and localized thunderstorms—will bring cloudy skies and rains across the Philippines.

The LPA located 350 kilometers west of Abucay, Bataan, dissipated as of 2 a.m. on Wednesday, while Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeasterly Surface Windflow.

Elsewhere in extreme Northern Luzon, the Northeasterly Windflow will bring cloudy skies, while localized thunderstorms are expected over the rest of the country causing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) continues to bring rainfall to BARMM and Soccsksargen regions, prompting Pagasa to advise residents to be cautious of potential flooding or landslides.

PAGASA also noted that the whole Philippines will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
