Amihan brings light rains to Cagayan Valley, Caraga gets scattered rain showers

The northeast monsoon (Amihan) and easterly winds from the Pacific continue to affect various regions of the Philippines.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Northern Quezon, parts of Camarines Norte, and Batanes will experience overcast skies with light rains due to Amihan.

Caraga, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro in Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides during severe storms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, as well as Visayas, will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe weather conditions.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas are expected over Luzon and the Visayas, while Mindanao will have slight to moderate winds with mild coastal waters.

Temperatures in major cities across the country range from 14°C to 33°C, with Metro Manila experiencing a temperature range of 22°C to 30°C.
