Pagasa forecasts fair weather with isolated rain showers across PH

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) forecasts fair weather with isolated rain showers across the country on Thursday, August 1.

Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio noted that no low-pressure area is currently being monitored within the Philippine area of responsibility, and this condition is expected to continue until Friday due to a ridge of high pressure.

In Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are anticipated with isolated rain showers in the afternoon or evening due to thunderstorms; similar conditions are expected in Visayas and Mindanao.

The temperature range for key cities on Thursday includes temperatures between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila, while cooler temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees Celsius are expected in Baguio City.

Other major cities such as Cebu, Davao, and Zamboanga will experience similar weather patterns with temperature ranges between 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas are forecasted for the entire country throughout this period.
