Robredo backs probe into Magat Dam protocol during Ulysses

Vice President Leni Robredo supports an investigation into whether there were protocol lapses in the release of water from Magat Dam during Typhoon Ulysses.

Robredo noted that local officials she spoke to claimed they were not informed about areas affected by the dam's gate openings.

Experts suggest that opening seven gates at the height of the typhoon was excessive and could have been prevented with sufficient pre-release.
