Robredo counters Duterte's insults, continues typhoon relief

Vice President Leni Robredo continued her relief operations in Camarines Sur on Wednesday, November 18, a day after President Rodrigo Duterte insulted and maligned her during his televised address.

Robredo visited Ragay town early in the morning to check on evacuees affected by Super Typhoon Rolly (Goni) and Typhoon Ulysses (Vamco), distributing relief goods in several barangays.

She also planned to visit Pasacao town to aid displaced residents, emphasizing her ongoing efforts despite Duterte’s criticisms.

On Tuesday night, Robredo fact-checked Duterte’s false claims about the Office of the Vice President's lack of assistance during the typhoon recovery efforts, calling him a misogynist and peevish for his remarks.
