37% of NegOcc cops vaccinated vs COVID-19

As of August 1, 37% of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) personnel, totaling 830 individuals, have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

Lt. Abegael Donasco, NOCPPO's officer-in-charge, stated that the vaccines are provided by local government units (LGUs), and PNP is still waiting for its own vaccine supply.

Col. Romy Palgue, police provincial director, confirmed on August 2 that at least 566 personnel from various stations have been vaccinated with San Carlos City Police Station having the highest number of vaccinated staff at 75.
