Over 46,000 displaced after Typhoon Karding

Over 46,000 Filipinos in northern Philippines remain displaced a week after Super Typhoon Karding hit.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council reported that 3,098 people are in evacuation centers while the rest are staying with relatives or in other private accommodations.

The typhoon caused 12 deaths, injured 52 individuals, and left five missing.

Damage to agriculture is estimated at P3.076 billion, while infrastructure damage amounts to P304 million.

More than a million people across 30 provinces in Luzon have been affected by the storm.
