Over 113K quarantine violators reported in NCR amid Alert Level 3

As of Thursday, over 113,000 quarantine violators have been reported in the National Capital Region since the implementation of Alert Level 3 on October 16.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) noted that around 57% of violators were warned, 36% were fined, and 7% faced other sanctions.

Violations include breaches of minimum public health standards and curfew violations, with a daily average of about 9,467 new cases reported from October 16 to 27.
