PAGASA raises orange, red warnings over multiple areas due to rain systems

PAGASA raised orange rainfall warnings over Aurora, Southern Leyte, Leyte, Biliran Island, Eastern Samar, Samar, and Kalayaan Islands in Palawan due to heavy rains from the tail-end of a frontal system and Tropical Depression Vicky.

Red rainfall warning was issued for Catanduanes with severe flooding expected in prone areas and possible landslides.

Yellow warnings were hoisted over Quirino, southern Isabela, Divilican, Maconacon, San Pablo in Isabela, Peñablanca in Cagayan, Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, Siquijor, and the rest of Palawan.

PAGASA advised residents to take necessary actions against flooding and landslides.
