Tropical Depression Vicky forced over 300 families to evacuate their homes on Saturday in Mindanao due to flooding.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported nine flooding incidents in Caraga, particularly in Surigao del Sur and Agusan del Sur.

As of Saturday, around 1,525 individuals were affected by the floods across Northern Mindanao, Davao region, and Caraga, seeking refuge in nine evacuation centers.

Residents in Rosario and San Francisco in Agusan del Sur faced waist-deep floodwaters, with some trapped on rooftops requiring rescue operations.
