Dozens of flights canceled due to Typhoon Odette

Dozens of domestic flights were canceled on December 17 due to Typhoon Odette (Rai).

As of Friday, more than 100 flights had been canceled since Thursday.

Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific led the cancellations with multiple routes affected including Manila-Butuan-Manila, Manila-Tacloban-Manila, and Manila-Caticlan-Manila.

Mactan-Cebu International Airport used backup radios for operations as its backup antenna was damaged; Bohol-Panglao International Airport had damaged signages and guard posts while Antique and Tacloban airports experienced minor facility damage.
