OCTA: NCR COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 15%

OCTA Research reports that the seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate in NCR decreased from 17.9% on October 8 to 15% on October 15.

However, several provinces still have very high positivity rates above 20%, including Camarines Sur (46.2%), Cavite (22.8%), Laguna (22.2%), Rizal (22.1%), South Cotabato (26.9%), Tarlac (41.6%), and Zambales (22%).

Tarlac and Zambales showed notable decreases in positivity rates compared to previous weeks.

NCR's reproduction number increased to 1.03 as of October 14 from 0.93 on October 12.
