OCTA: NCR's COVID-19 reproduction number rises to 0.68

OCTA Research reported on Wednesday that the COVID-19 reproduction number in Metro Manila increased slightly from 0.57 to 0.68 over the past week.

The group noted a one-week growth rate of 8% for new cases, with an average daily attack rate (ADAR) of 8.22 per 100,000, indicating moderate risk.

Healthcare utilization and occupancy rates in NCR remained within safe levels at 41% and 53%, respectively.

Previously, on May 31, OCTA had observed a slowing down of the downward trend in new cases with a growth rate of -1%.
