OCTA: Metro Manila's daily new COVID-19 cases down by 9%

The OCTA Research Group reported on Monday that Metro Manila's daily new COVID-19 cases decreased by 9% over the past week.

From June 14 to 20, the region averaged 731 new cases per day, which dropped to 667 from June 21 to 27.

The positivity rate remained at 7%, while the ADAR (average daily attack rate) was 4.83, classifying Metro Manila as a moderate-low risk area.

Hospital bed occupancy in the region is at 36%, ICU bed utilization is at 45%, and mechanical ventilator usage stands at 32%.
