Nueva Ecija drug rehab center becomes 500-room quarantine facility

A drug rehabilitation center in Fort Magsaysay, Nueva Ecija, is being converted into a quarantine facility for COVID-19 patients and is set to open next week.

The facility will have 500 spacious air-conditioned rooms, with 478 designated for patients and the rest for medical staff.

Government officials, including DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III and other key figures from the National Task Force Against COVID-19, inspected the facility on Friday.

Patients will receive free meals, Wi-Fi connection, and 24/7 medical care while in quarantine.
