DOH: E. Visayas reports three new Covid-19 cases

Eastern Visayas reported three new coronavirus cases on Thursday, July 16, bringing the total to 656.

Two of the new cases are locally stranded individuals (LSI) from Manila in Calbiga town, Samar, and one case is a possible local transmission with no travel history but potential exposure to a positive patient in Tacloban.

As of July 14, Eastern Visayas has 40 active cases and maintains a high recovery rate at 93.42%, with 610 recoveries out of 653 confirmed cases.
