NU-Nazareth, UE win UAAP boys' volleyball matches

Defending champion National University-Nazareth School (NU-Nazareth) and the University of the East (UE) maintained their strong performances in Wednesday's UAAP Season 87 boys' volleyball matches.

The Junior Warriors overcame Adamson University's Baby Falcons with a score of 25-13, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20 after taking a 17-10 lead in the fourth set and securing victory in one hour and 43 minutes.

In another match on Wednesday, NU-Nazareth defeated Ateneo Blue Eagles with a decisive score of 25-8, 25-13, 25-9 within just 71 minutes.

Both teams improved to a 4-1 record and now share second place behind the unbeaten University of Santo Tomas (UST) with a perfect 4-0 record.

Lance Babon led NU-Nazareth's offensive effort with 15 points from 13 kills and two service aces, while Matthew Abut scored 11 points for UE in their match against Ateneo.
