NU advances to best-of-three title series vs La Salle

National University (NU) will face La Salle in a best-of-three title series for the Collegiate Pre-season Championship starting November 22.

In the knockout semifinal match on Saturday, NU defeated Far Eastern University (FEU) with a score of 25-16, 19-25, 25-17, 25-22 at Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

MVP Alyssa Solomon led NU's victory with 17 points, while Bella Belen and Vange Alinsug contributed 15 points each.

This match is a rematch of the inaugural Shakey's Super League finals from two years ago when NU ended FEU's unbeaten streak.

NU will have their revenge against La Salle, who snapped their 28-game winning streak in a stellar two-year SSL run during the prelims.

FEU's seven-game winning streak was snapped, and they will face University of Santo Tomas for third place on November 22.
