Clarin leads NU Lady Bulldogs past UST in UAAP

Team captain Camille Clarin led the NU Lady Bulldogs to a 76-70 victory over the defending champion UST Growling Tigresses in the UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament on Wednesday, November 6.

Clarin contributed 21 points, seven rebounds, and four assists, helping NU maintain its unbeaten record at 11-0.

The win secured NU a Final Four spot and put them just three wins away from an elimination-round sweep and an outright finals appearance.

NU outrebounded UST 47-32 and clinched the victory with a decisive 13-0 run in the fourth quarter, despite a shaky start.

Coach Aris Dimaunahan praised Clarin's development into a two-way player, highlighting her defensive contributions against top opponents.

Clarin emphasized the importance of staying focused and continuing to work hard despite their current success, noting that each win brings them closer to an elimination-round sweep.
