National U extends winning streak to four in UAAP women's volleyball

National University extended their winning streak to four games by defeating Far Eastern University with a score of 25-17, 13-25, 25-17, 25-20 in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Wednesday.

Alyssa Solomon led National University with 25 points and seven digs, while Bella Belen contributed 19 markers alongside 19 digs and 11 receptions; Vange Alinsug also had a strong performance with 16 points.

Despite the victory, both Solomon and Belen acknowledged that their team needs to improve on avoiding complacency and reducing errors, particularly evident in the second set where they scored only 13 points.

National University head coach Norman Miguel emphasized the importance of continued improvement and maintaining mental focus, noting that his players are maturing but still have room for growth.

The Lady Bulldogs will face the struggling University of the East on Sunday at 2 PM, with their next major challenge being a rematch against defending champion La Salle on March 16.
