NU, UP tied for UAAP lead, face off Saturday

National University (NU) and the University of the Philippines (UP) are tied for first place in the UAAP Season 86 men's basketball tournament with identical 2-0 records.

Both teams will face each other on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum, a rematch of last year's Final Four match.

Despite holding a perfect record, NU coach Jeff Napa described their recent win against FEU as a 'bad game', emphasizing the need for improvement in practice.

UP assistant coach Christian Luanzon echoed this sentiment, noting that the league is a marathon and not a sprint.
