NegOr: Over 180K residents vaccinated; targets 133K seniors

As of Friday, Aug 20, 2021, over 180,000 eligible residents in Negros Oriental have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

The PHO reported that 83,688 people received the first dose while 96,482 are fully vaccinated, including those who got the single-dose Janssen vaccine.

Vaccination sites include the Macias Sports Center, Robinsons mall, and barangay gymnasium in Pulantubig, with local government units conducting their own vaccination activities.

Negros Oriental has received a total of 251,094 doses of various vaccines including Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Janssen, and Moderna.

On Aug 17, the province aims to vaccinate 133,317 senior citizens against COVID-19, urging them to 'walk in' at any vaccination site for their shots.
