FDA: Only 0.0013% of fully-vaccinated get COVID-19

The FDA reported on Friday, August 13, that only a small fraction of fully-vaccinated individuals have contracted COVID-19.

Out of over 9 million people fully vaccinated, only 116 cases were recorded more than 14 days after their second dose, including one fatality.

The FDA emphasized that the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks, noting that out of 20.8 million doses administered, 735 infections and 61 deaths have been recorded among vaccinated individuals as of August 1.
