NEA: Rolly damages power facilities to P344M

The projected damage to power facilities affected by Typhoon Rolly has been raised to P344.69 million as of Sunday, primarily impacting electric cooperatives in the Bicol region and parts of Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Eastern Visayas.

As of Friday, the NEA reported that about 1.2 million consumers or around 57% of affected households have had power restored, while restoration efforts continue for approximately 900,269 households in Catanduanes, Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon.

The hardest-hit electric cooperatives include the First Catanduanes Electric Cooperative with P133.06 million in damage, followed by Camarines Sur III Electric Cooperative at P82.30 million and Camarines Sur IV Electric Cooperative at P39.38 million.
