NDRRMC: 94 confirmed dead from Paeng; 56 others under validation

As of Thursday, November 3, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) confirmed that 94 people died due to Severe Tropical Storm Paeng, with 56 other deaths still under validation.

The total reported fatalities have risen from 121 on Wednesday to 150 as of Thursday, mainly in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and Calabarzon.

In Maguindanao alone, the death toll has climbed to 63 with 17 people still missing; many casualties were residents relocated from coastal areas for safety reasons.

The number of injured persons stands at 128, while 36 are reported missing. Over four million individuals have been affected by Paeng across various regions.
