Paeng causes over P4B in infra damage

As of Sunday, November 6, the estimated cost of infrastructure damage due to Severe Tropical Storm Paeng has reached P4.3 billion.

The highest amount of damage was recorded in Calabarzon at P1.24 billion, followed by Mimaropa and Bicol Region.

Additionally, as of Thursday, November 3, the Department of Public Works and Highways reported that damage to public infrastructure had reached P2.09 billion.

Damage to power facilities amounted to P27.23 million, while agricultural sector losses were estimated at P2.44 billion.
