NCR's COVID positivity rate drops to 13.1%

Metro Manila's COVID-19 positivity rate dropped from 14.5% on December 13 to 13.1% on December 20.

OCTA Research fellow Guido David reported the reproduction number in NCR decreased to 0.91, indicating slowing virus transmission.

The 7-day average of new cases also decreased from 447 to 404, with a growth rate of -10%.

According to the DOH, there were 823 new COVID-19 cases recorded on December 21, bringing the national case total to 4,058,465.
