NCR COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 13.9%

The COVID-19 positivity rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) has dropped to 13.9% as of December 17, down from 14.4% on December 10.

Dr. Guido David of OCTA Research noted that this decrease could indicate a reduction in infections in NCR and other provinces across the Philippines.

As of December 17, several areas including Albay, Camarines Sur, Ilocos Sur, Isabela, Kalinga, Nueva Ecija, Rizal, and Tarlac also reported decreased positivity rates.
